Our main full sized casks are 200L, however we may have a limited amount of 30L
casks available. Please contact our team through our online form.

An average standard cask is 12.4%, based on 5 years of previous market history.

The longer the better, but we recommend at least 5 years.

HMRC classes cask whisky as a wasting asset, meaning whisky under bond is exempt from capital gains tax. This means, if a cask is bought and sold under bond, any returns will be tax free.

Cardiff Distillery will take care of all licensing, unless you purchase a cask in a company name.
